  Warning! Be Advised: Dr. Tehrani office does not care how they treat their patients or care how they ruin you Financially. I was sent to Houston Health Care for pre-op for a procedure. I had all my work ups done there for the pre-op. I applied for financial assistance there because the out of pocket cost was over $1050 dollars and I could not afford it. I told Dr. Tehrani that I could not afford it and would not do the procedure unless I was approved. I was approved and was advised, during pre op, that my out of pocket cost would be $150 dollars for it. So we moved forward on the procedure. The day of my appointment I arrived at Houston Health Care for my procedure (where I had my pre-op) and was told I wasn't scheduled there. I called the Dr. Tehrani's office back and they said I wasn't scheduled there but I was scheduled in Macon, Ga. I had to drive all the way up there and was a bit late for my procedure. It's been over a year now and I am now getting a bill from the Macon Hospital for over $1400 dollars. I was told that Houston Health Care financial assistance was not honored there because they are a different clinic. I called my doctor's office and told them that I now have a bill that I couldn't afford and asked them to help. They said in short, not our problem. "It's the Hospitals bill" and there was nothing they could do to help. I reminded them they sent me to the Houston health care for pre-op, that is when they disclose your Financial responsible cost and I told them I have proof, on paper, of what I agreed too. The lady at the office was rude, cutting me off when I was talking on the phone, and she didn't want to deal with me or help at all. She said I could have went to any hospital for pre-op but refused to acknowledge they sent me there and scheduled the appointment for me for pre- op. If I could have picked why would I pick a hospital that is more than 35 miles from my home when I have two closer to me? ( 1 is 10 mile, the other is 15 miles) would have picked that. Long story short, They only care about Money here. They do a lot of work ups, prescribe medicine that wasn't need, run a lot of test, and perform procedures that my be not necessary to add to the overall cost and don't honor the agreed Price. There is a Bait and Switch method being used here. So you've been warned.. I would not suggest anyone go here, unless you have a lot of disposable income, because what you see on paper isn't what you are going to pay.
